Program Description:
This introductory program will provide quick tips to help library staff and patrons find local history materials in their own SCLSNJ Library and on the SCLSNJ website.
Presenter Bio:
As an accomplished fine art restoration specialist, artist, and collector in the community, Ashley brings over 15 years of experience in the field and has a long-standing professional history working with private art dealers, collectors, and cultural heritage institutions.
Ashley’s education includes a Master of Information Science in Archives and Preservation from Rutgers University and a Master of Fine Arts in Mixed Media from Montclair State University. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Figure Drawing from Pratt Institute while simultaneously taking anatomical drawing courses at Columbia University.
She is an active member of the American Institute for Conservation and the Society of American Archivists, and several local historical committees, where she regularly attends meetings and stays current on professional training and policy.
